Today it was soooooo warm that it was plain uncomfortable!
For once I wore shorts instead of jeans, and even a short walk around the neighbourhood left me all warm and icky. We really need to buy one of those air conditioners to place at the windows. Everyone here seems to have one of those potable air conditioners which is only up and running in summer, and removed in winter. I figure they are taken down in winter to allow windows to close properly so as to conserve heat then. Now, everyone tells me that it will get even warmer in summer, how am I going to survive!
Ice-cold water, ice cream, opening the freezer section of the fridge, sleeveless tops and shorts are now a few of my favourite things!
