I just had to write this in - woo hoo! Singapore is number one leh! This time for, get this, walking the fastest! <Link> Apparently the world is walking 10% faster, and the people in Singapore topped others from cities like New York, Tokyo, and London.
I wonder where did they take this readings of how fast Singaporeans walk. Was it during the opening of the new Giant or Ikea? Was it during lunch hour at Raffles Place? Why are we walking faster anyway? Someway will we evolve to run from one place to another. But hey we should be proud of this- another "achievement" in our books to be first!
