First post of 2012? Seriously that has been how long I have been away huh. Well this is something that I want to forget, but some years down the road I will want to recollect about the events of this awful night again. 

June 30th 2005 was an exciting night with a proposal that eventually lead us to June 30th 2012 - the nightmare of the derecho. It could have been a lot worse, so I am very thankful that no one was hurt in this episode of monster storm. No, wait, I take that back. You might remember Yellow Submarine as the sole occupant of the house when we bought the place back in 2009. He did not survive the three days of power outage following the storm, and most likely died due to the lack of oxygen in the pond. Two other fish died too, Barley and an orange fish, leaving behind three other fish.

They say there is this 7-year cycle thing in life. What now do you think will happen on June 30th 2019?
