Last Saturday was my cousin's wedding in Singapore; congratulations to Justina and Noel!
From what my sister and parents shared with me, along with some photos, it was a grand wedding with close to some fifty tables. This special occasion was probably on my grandma's mind for a long while, as she pondered what dresses to wear. In the end, she wore a lovely turquoise cheong-sum, and a wig. Yes you read it right, a wig! I saw a photo of her, and I must say her hair looked natural and she did look younger with it!
As for my mama, this wedding seemed to have propelled her forward in her planning of the guest list . The numbers just keep increasing! There is only one way to deal with it - stamp my feet and hold my ground. Doing that via a long-distance phone calls too! Well, no one said it will be easy...
