This is cool in my books! Kwik-E-Mart, owned by Apu in The Simpsons is now in NYC and some other states! Actually they are 7-eleven stores that have been converted into Kwik-E-Mart for the promotion of Simpsons, the movie which will be released later this month. *Yay*
The Simpsons remain one of my favorite cartoons, and I definitely would want to go see the store for myself. Here are some photos from a blog (must be a big fan), as well as the official 7-eleven site and directory of store listings. "Buy 3 for the price of 3!" These are the stuff that makes Simpsons rock!
Will post photos if I make it to one, too bad there are none in Baltimore.
PS. Vote for your favorite Springfield state!
