The heat!
Temperatures have soared to 35 C the last week, and it feels just like in Singapore.
It is so warm that I refused to bake because that would raise the temperature in the kitchen, making it unbearable on a wind-less day. I definitely love cold food like ice cream and sushi, and am dying to buy some Japanese rice to make sushi. Because I drink a lot more water, I end up feeling bloated, and thus my jeans feel tighter *sob sob*. Some nights it goes so warm that we wake up in the middle of the night, even though the air-conditioner is running.
And sorry Husby, some days it is just so warm that I feel so icky that I don't want to give you a hug! ;P
But just as I complained about the heat, the night when we were leaving Max's Taphouse, the skies opened it's taps and it poured like no one's business. We happened to be walking back to the campus to take the shutter and got caught in the rain, which quite frankly caught us by surprise. Drenched to the bone, but it felt good to have the cool relief.
Since then, the temperature has been more acceptable, like how it is only 22 C today. Nice!
