I happen to come across a blog dedicated to one sinful and unhealthy food: the donut or doughnut! It is known as The Blognut, and the author must love donuts because he tries it everywhere he goes. I so regret going into his blog now because it is making me so hungry for a tea time snack, what else but donuts!
And I found out that Krispy Kreme will give you a dozen free donuts if your birthday is today to celebrate their 70th birthday! Dang! Why isn't mine today? Sob...
The Blognut happens to have a contest now, to tell them what flavour donut we always wanted but were to afraid to ask. The prize is a limited edition The Simpsons movie soundtrack housed in get this, a donut. This is a tough one. I only like the chocolate ones, and am not terribly adventurous with the fried dough. If you are thinking of honey dew donuts, I'm afraid you are too late, the shop Honey Dew Donuts has beat you to it! Maybe we should try durain; would anyone be up for durain donuts??
This other store The Spudnuts, makes doughnuts out of potato flour as its name implies! That sounds yummy to be too. Plus do not miss this website The Weekly Donut! It pokes fun at everyday things, and I love some of their revamped movie poster, like this 140-ate (1408, the new John Cusack and Samual L Jackson show)
Drooling. Must find the Husby to go with me to buy some donuts! Some one send me some chinese doughnuts too please - the you tiao, or the vadai, the Indian doughnut...
