I came across the Grand Canyon Skywalk on Yahoo! and it certainly looks fascinating! Its made of glass and extends out from the Canyon wall. Given the strong winds, can they really prevent it from wobbling? One thing for sure, it is likely to be my feet wobbling instead! I am not sure if I can really walk to the end of the bridge which is 4000 feet above the canyon floor; would definitely be a waste of $25 if I am frozen at one spot. It'll open 28th March, lets see how the reviews are.
Closer to home, there is the Singapore Flyer which is an giant observation wheel with views from 42 stories high. Said to be "Asia's most visible iconic visitors attraction", this wheel reminds me of the classic ferris wheel, except the capsules look really comfortable. It will take 37 minutes for the journey, and costs start at $29.50 for adults. The Singapore Flyer will only begin operations next March; meanwhile, you can enjoy the view from the webcam at their construction site!
