Trip to Washington DC

Yesterday we went to Washington DC! It was just a day-trip thing, and we only covered two museums: National Museum of Natural History, and the National Air and Space Museum (which the Husby loved). Unfortunately there are very few photos to show, all because me, myelf and I, had forgotten to insert my memory card back into my camera. *sob* It was too late as I only discovered it on the train.

Still there was the 2-megapixel camera in the phone, and I'll share photos of some post cards too. It is only an hour away by train, so we definitely will visit DC again, this time with my fully functional camera.

The Smithsonian Castle with flowers in full bloom; the flowers remind me of cherry blossoms

This postcard shows how the beautiful it is around the Tidal Basin when the cherry blossoms are in season, this will probably be the case in two weeks time

This other postcard here shows the displays of gigantic fosslized bones of dinosaurs which ruled eons ago at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. It was madness here with school children and adults gawking at the displays

Our Marc train tickets - reminds me of air plane tickets! It costs only $7 one-way.
