The results are out!
I have not been following The Oscars closely, but I am happy to hear that Forest Whitaker won the Best Actor award for his role in "The last king of Scotland". This was one of the two shows I watched on my flight here, and I felt that his protrayal of Idi Amin was fantastic! I will never look at him in the same light ever again. Incidentally the other show I watched was "The Queen", in which Helen Mirren won the award for Best Actress.
There are still so many other movies I have not watched, the list includes Babel, Little Miss Sunshine, Borat, Blood Diamonds and maybe even Pan's Ladyrinth (I hear its slightly scary?)
The other fun part about the Oscars is what they wore, and as usual there would be a best-dressed and worst-dressed list. Cameron Diaz looked different from the rest in a white gown, I thought she carried the off-shoulder look well. Unfortunately they placed her in the worst-dressed list as well.
