The weather here is so cold! Yes I know its winter, but still I am not mentally prepared for such a cold winter as Feb was suppose to be warmer than Jan.
Here are three reasons why I love the cold weather:
1. I can wear all that pretty winter long coats, scarfs and gloves!
2. I can buy all the ice cream I want and take my own sweet time to walk home with no worries that it would melt like in Singapore.
3. I can shower once a day and not feel sweaty all over.
However, because the weather is so much drier, I have to slap on a lot of moisterisers or risk looking like a peeling onion, which trust me, is not a pretty sight. For the first three days I could not survive without applying my lip balm every hour, but thank goodness I am less dependent on it now.
One interesting thing I noticed is that my hair no longer curls so much over here. It could be the humidity, or rather the lack of it that results in my wavy hair looking straighter than before. I am sad though, I hope I don't lose my curls!
Just a note: I have added the weather sticker on my menu on the right hand-side, so you can all check out what temperatures it is now here for me. The weather is a serious affair here in the US, and it has become a habit for me to wake up and check the weather every morning. This is because there can be sudden changes to the weather, like say strong winds, which one should be prepared for. And of course it is always nice to know when it may snow, so I can whip out my camera!
