This was tired Freo aka Miss Yam at Botanical Gardens yesterday, check out her long pinky tongue! I felt that her face in the first photo reminds me of someone saying "I am just too tired lah..." As you can see, the water hen was happily walking behind her. In that sense she is unlike Monkey who will instinctively chase after all the birds/cats/dogs in the vinicity. Still Miss Yam is one curious dog, but just not overly inquisitive and that can be a good thing.
An embarassing incident occured today at the Cafe Les Amis. I was really hungry and deciding which burger to order. It really puzzled me that it was written as such:
Chef's burger (special spicy sauce, fried egg)
What? You mean it has no meat??
So I went up and asked: "Is there meat in your Chef's burger?"
The cashier chuckled and could not hide his surprise.
"Of course, all the burgers have meat!" I bet he could not believe his ears; must have been thinking what sort of a question is that.
How I wished the ground open up and would swallow me then! But I was glad that did not happen, for the Chef's burger (Its beef by the way, I blame it on my hunger that blinded me from knowing that all burgers have meat in them...) was fantastic! You got to try it for yourself! p/s: Sunny side-up fried egg was taken out as I dislike runny eggs.
