Thank you to the two old friends from secondary school who climbed out of bed to send me off at the airport, I really appreciate it and needed the company to keep me calm before the long journey. =)
The flight seemed endless, but perhaps it was all that excitment of meeting the Husby again that made everything better. There were bad air turbulence, coupled with spilt soup which soiled my jeans, and not to mention that sprint across Chicago airport to catch the flight to Baltimore. To top it off, I was close to begging the person at the counter to let me board the Baltimore plane, as my luggage was on it. That was a joke, for when I arrived at Baltimore my luggage was still in Chicago, probably undergoing inspection.
Speaking of which, one of my bags had its number lock damaged beyond repair. This was due to the inspection by the Transportation Security Administration, who left me a note in my luggage that my bag was one of those inspected. If you do not want this to happen to your luggage when you travel to the US, do read up more on www.tsa.gov. Darn, I should have unlocked it.
