Running nowhere

Ha, I keep forgetting I still have my running count down timer there.

I was thinking of joining a 5km run at the upcoming Baltimore Running Festival, but now I have chickened out. For starters, I have not been running as regularly as I want to. Plus there is no one to run with me and hence the lack of motivation. And I was worried about the temperatures dropping too low...

At the end it all, I realise that these are just tons of excuses, and all I needed was one reason why I should do it, because I want to! Maybe next year then. =P (Now meet the other side of me, the procrastinator!)

In case you think I am a fast runner, let me first say that I am the slowest runner ever. I dislike slopes and will struggle so hard at my snail pace. Last year when a few of us took part in the 10km Standard Chartered Run, I was the last one in at over 90 minutes if memory serves me right. Quite malu lah, but what to do, that is me! Actually when I took part in the run, all I want to do is to complete the run, irregardless of the time.

Well, by next year, I should try for the 21km. But don't hold your breath, I may just change my mind again!
