One happy wife = priceless?
The Husby had to buy some flowers for me, after all it is not at all pretty to admire a new but empty vase! In case you are falling in love with the vase too, the name is Blomster.
Red and pink peonies this time, they remind me of those chinese paintings. This time the flowers are blooming really slowly, maybe they could last the week?

There is some stuff that you could add in the water that could retard the growth/decline of the flowers once they had opened.
Sorry cannot remember the name...but not Panadol ; )
Perhaps you could ask at the nursery/florist - it is a liquid.

Thanks for the tip anonymous, in the end the flowers lasted a while, and some failed to bloom before they wilted.
