The weekend that just passed was Honfest, and the Husby and I took a slow walk to the venue. Along the way, I was stopping ever so often to peer into bushes and flowers. I think white petals with yellow centers make the prettiest flowers, do you agree? I also love the bunch of plants; their shapes are an inspiration to pattern making, perfect for a fabric.
Honfest itself, however, was disappointing to me. I blame the sweltering weather, simply too warm to enjoy anything outdoors and the throngs of people who made weaving through a pain. We called it a day before we had the chance to meet up with Dawn - really sorry about it Dawn! I did not take any other photos of the street festival, either than this random shot which I wanted to focus on the stage. But alas, this bunch of guys were featured instead, probably there to ogle at the ladies in beehives!? Also see Honfest 2007.
For dinner, the Husby and I tried the rosé wine, which is now my fave. What a pretty color!
