Fields Museum was the highlight on day one as the weather was bad, and it was a nice and well-laid out museum. Sue, the largest and most complete T-rex ever discovered, greeted us in the main hall. I was however, disappointed at her size. Somehow I always thought she would be larger; perhaps I fail to imagine how magnificent she must be with muscles and all!

When I started planning for the trip, my immediate focus was on FOOD! WJ was laughing at the fact that when we met up in Chicago, I had a list of food places I wanted to visit; that was simply how I made sure I would get to savour the local flavours. Here is a peek at the Chicago style hot dog and cheese fries at The Wiener's Circle, and a third of the one-pound Pot pie at Chicago Oven & Grinder with a generous serving of meatball sub in the background... I need to go on a diet now!

T-rex!!!
The food looks yummy. Heh. So now I feel like T-rex with this huge appetite. Whoops.
Haha, that is a good way to describe how I felt when I saw the mountain of fries!
Wahahaha! Yummy!
The museum is awesome. Wow, it must be a strange feeling to being so close to something that walked the earth so long ago - that is so cool.
