Take a walk...

When the weather is good, there is nothing I like better to do than to go for a leisure stroll...

Just last week, the Husby and I heard a strange noise at the back of our apartment, and it turned out to be a woodpecker! Too bad it was too sunny to get a good photography of the busy and noisy bird.

Keep your eyes open on your walks, you never know what you might find - dead mouse (squashed and flatten, right outside the apartment!) and more!

Since it is spring, I figure I should go with the season too. The new blog header was made with a photograph of these large pink flowers during dusk, therefore giving them a warm glow. If only I went to Washington DC to see the cherry blossoms, now that would be really beautiful.

Hehe looks like you've got yourself a fan here! ;)

Yes dearie love the flowers *envious* Hehe I actually like the one with the bare trees the most-love how the sky complements the dark shadows of the trees, with a lovely gradient! :) Ooh you mean they have cherry blossoms in the States too?? Are they like the ones in Japan? Hehe i felt the warm glow gave it a wee retro look ;p

Yup Cookie, the cherry blossoms in DC were from Japan a long time back! You can read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Cherry_Blossom_Festival

Did you see the ones in Japan on your previous two trips? I bet those must be really lovely.

Yes yes stevun, post photos of your trip and of the little one! I think even if I went to DC now, there will only be petals on the floor... Too late for me!
