Happy Easter!

It is Easter Sunday today, and I was really surprised to learn that this year it is in March. Truth is, I never knew it was considered a movable feast - March 22nd is the earliest date possible for Easter. You can read more about Easter here.

One thing though, I never quite figured out about Easter egg hunts - are the eggs cooked? What do you do with the eggs? Just for fun, here is a cute from Peanuts: It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown. It is a pity I did not find the link to the full feature; look out for it, it is really cute.

Closer to home, meet Mr Egg, who spots a Natty Boh tattoo on one arm and a stolen hat from Nr M&Ms. He also loves his straw skirt, though he rather proper pants (I tried, but failed). Isn't he adorable? He has met the gang; together they could pass off as the banana bunch!

The Husby made one more Mr Egg, with a baseball cap and headphones!

Sigh, I know I should stop clowning around and get down to studying, but there are just so many distractions. Oh, it is lunch time now, maybe I will go cook some soup. Or eggs. Or sneak in a little shopping. (Unfortunately, all the stores will be closed today for the Easter Holiday, I never knew it was such an important holiday!)
