| Attack of the mantis! Run for your life! Look at how she stands on her two legs and raises her spiked forelegs. I have been scratched by prying mantis before, and they are no fun. After this photo, I literally stood up and ran off! They are the closest relatives of cockroaches, it must be those spiked legs- so eeky! |

| Up she goes on the fence, away from the annoying photographer. I wonder if she will survive the upcoming winter? |
