Random post-wedding entry

You know that feeling whereby you want to do something, but each time you attempt to start you always get distracted?

That is how I have been feeling when it came to sorting out the wedding photos. I have been meaning to post some of them here, but each time I open the folder, I get all lost in my happy memories of that day... I sit here and smile to myself and ha, time passes me by. Then it is again time to sleep and I give up - I sigh and think to myself: someday I will post them up.

Well, today is that day! You can choose to either bear with me or skip to the next post, because I am still in the post-wedding bliss mode and will launch at any moment into my whole wedding experience to bore the daylights of you... or not. You be the judge, but don't say I did not warn you!

These set of photos were taken in Penang, the first of which is the corsage that the Husby and I made on the morning of the wedding banquet. I am so proud of it! *big grin* Can you believe that there is not a single florist in the whole of Gurney Plaza? It is such a large shopping complex and yet, no fresh flowers at all. So it was fake flowers to the rescue, and you got to agree it is decent right?

For wedding favors, my mum actually baked all 140 pieces of fruit cake and we were packing them into boxes given by the hotel. If only I told her about my dream wedding cake, which I am sure she would attempt to bake! Another trivia detail: we omitted the cake cutting from both wedding banquets because as the Husby puts it, cardboard does not taste good. I gotta agree with him on that.

Maybe it was the purple, or it could be the sequins. Or that the cut was that of a traditional cheong sum, but one thing is for sure, I love to bits my other dress from the Cheong Sum Shoppe in Holland Village! :)

And of course the dolls, next to the ang pow box. I still am very happy everything turned out great on that day. Will there be more post-wedding entries coming up? Maybe, when I can stop obsessing over the photos and get down to writing!
