Finally, one to call my own! :)
It looks fancy and works like a dream, I am so smitten by it! The last time I touched a sewing machine was in Secondary Two Home Ed class donkey ages ago. That was a not a good memory at all, especially when you have to memorize how to thread the machine or risk failing the test. It almost killed my love for sewing, but I must say there is something magical about stepping on the pedal and watching the needle do it's thing.
I am in love with the "keep calm and carry on" sign that is ubiquitous these days, here is the story behind their origin. I am so very in love with my blue wall - but please please do not say it is baby blue. It is not, and that is my least favorite color. This has a slight grey tinge to it, nothing at all like the cutesy baby blue (No offense if that is your favorite color! ). Thank you to Dawn, Ian and Auntie D for the gift card, this is the result of all that paint.
I like my table too, it used to be the top of our wardrobe that had no doors. Now it has been upcycled to my crafting table by the addition of four legs from Ikea. More on my crafting room soon- lots of work in process now!
