Black friday and going into the red

Wednesday was my last written paper for this semester! YAY! The next exam is... next weekend Dec 5th. boo.

But hey it was Thanksgiving yesterday, and black Friday today. yay. Sense the muted enthusiasm. Not much energy left now, I cannot even muster enough brain power to upload a photo on this poor neglected blog.

There is so much to write about, but let's start with today. After waking up at 630am this morning (on a holiday!) and having been out and shopping for some twelve hours, with a damage of some $1000 it is time to call it a day. The highlights include traveling more than 170 miles to Hagerstown, White Marsh and Towson, having Arby's for the first time and battling 30mph wind. Not forgetting how we were so tired at 9pm at Home Depot that we actually pushed someone's cart onto the next aisle, looked in and wonder where did our supplies go! We then abandoned it - oh so bad of us.

But this thing called Karma really exist I tell you!

It came back to bite us in the butt when we left the cart to one side while picking up more items, and come back to find the cart missing. Gone. Not in aisle 9, or 11. Not at the back either. Uh-oh. At the precise moment it was so frustrating that all our hard work for the past hour of picking out painting supplies were gone. Not to mention achy feet from all that walking. If not for the fact that tomorow makes a good painting day, we would have called it quits and gone home. So grudgingly we dragged our feets back to the paints, resigned to the fact that we will now have to start going through all the aisles again. But low and behold at the painting aisle was our cart, with everything intact. Hurray! I guess Karma knew we learnt our lesson! Okay I have to stop rambling on, my fingers are freezing and the bed beckons. Keep warm!

Dawn: come help choose colors!

Imp: Thank you! Yes, was inspired by that, and I miss watching My name is Earl, but I think it is no longer as good as when it first started.
