Pick-your-own!

Last Saturday, together with WJ and L we headed to Larriland Farm where we once picked apples to pick our own blueberries, red raspberries, black raspberries and tart cherries! It was really fun to pick the blueberries, which are so big and yummy. Raspberries were not so fun as the shrubs had thorns, and it was easy to damage them. Also, I wish they had sweet cherries instead of tart cherries! This time, unlike the apples where I was really fussy in finding perfect ones, I really did pick the berries. However, those blueberries you see in the second photo? For some reason, I merely took pictures of them and did not attempt to pick them. I was in my usual fashion, hunting for the largest blueberry. Now I regret not having picked 'em!

Next year I shall aim to pick 5 pounds of blueberries along with lots of sweet cherries! :)

aki-chan: no pies this time, must pick five pounds to bake otherwise not enough to eat! Nice, didn't read to much about the follower part, will check it out. Thanks!

Dawn: lots of sweet cherries in store now, yum! :)

imp: yes i did eat some along the way while hunting for the perfect big ones. A lot of people were doing a taste test of blueberries before picking. Still i picked some that were sour!
