Sister

Either than moving into our new apartment, the other significant event these past few weeks was the arrival of a VIP: My sister came by for a visit, for all of ten days! It was a pretty last minute thing, and before I knew it, she had arrived in Baltimore, on a rainy Friday evening no less. Sadly she has just arrived back in Singapore moments ago. Still I had a wonderful time, I hope you had just as much fun too!


Does we look like mother and daughter?? That was what one security officer at Hopkins asked me. I know I am getting older, but wow, old enough to have a teenage daughter, now that is truly something else! Age aside, this photo was taken on the first day after my sister arrived, at the Patterson Flea Market where we managed to get some good bargains - will update more on that soon as well as the whirlpool of activities while she was here.

At Central Park on Monday 09.15.08 - she has a longer neck than me! ;D
