As I mentioned last year, this is my favorite street in spring! All the small white pretty flowers always look so lovely. This year, I realised that the shadows are very intriguing too - no more bare silhouette of trees.
Most of these small flower petals have fallen off within the last two weeks, littering the pavements with what seemed like snow flakes. It looked absolutely stunning when the wind gently sways the branches to bring showers of tiny pink or white petals to the ground, almost like raining petals. How I wished I could capture that moment!
Isn't it fascinating to watch the seasons change? New green leaves now bud profusely out of the trees; the flowers will soon be nothing but a memory... Until next spring that is!
With that, I have also chosen to retire the pink flower header. Short-lived, yes, just like the flowers.
