I have been so lazy to update what happened in Sept, so many photos and stories, but so little energy. Here are more:
A visit to the American Visionary Art Museum, courtesy of Dawn -thank you Dawn for the complimentary tickets! My sister and I loved the museum, which is not like your usual stuffy museum. The pieces on display are not the famous ones, but that is what makes it special. The sculptures are really awesome too, check out the mirror mosaic egg!
We also took a day trip out to Lancaster Pennsylvania, said to be the heart of Dutch Country, to try the Amish Smorgasbord as well as shop at Tanger Factory Outlet. Unfortunately, the food at the buffet was a let down. Perhaps my choice of Millers Smorgasbord was too touristy for our liking, or we were simply expecting much more after a two-hour journey. Shopping, on the other hand, was all right. I like my new magnet, which features (believe it or not) the various towns with such interesting names.
View of Baltimore-Washington International Airport the morning that my sister left. Sometimes I would think that after so many years of having to say goodbye to my parents during every semester holiday since I was seven would make it easier, but it never is. I guess it hit me that this is by far the longest time I am away from my family. But hey, it will not be long until I see them again! ;)
